Part-Time Sales Staff to work our farmers market booth this summer. Location Cremona, AB :
We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as a Farmers Market Coffee Sales Representative. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for selling our locally roasted, packaged coffee at farmers market in Cochrane, AB with potential for additional farmers markets if feasible.
About Wildcat Coffee Company:
Wildcat Coffee Company is a coffee roasting company, founded with the purpose of providing customers with high quality, freshly roasted coffee.
Wildcat Coffee is roasted in Cremona, Alberta and the company is currently selling freshly roasted beans to grocery stores, restaurants and individual customers across Alberta.
Responsibilities:
● Transporting supplies from our shop in Cremona to the market in Cochrane
● Set up and break down the coffee booth at farmers markets
● Engage with customers and educate them about our coffee and its origins
● Sell packaged coffee and related merchandise to customers
● Handle cash and credit card transactions
● Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
● Keep the coffee booth clean and organized
● Work independently to ensure a positive customer experience
Key Qualifications
● Previous sales experience is an asset, but not necessary
● Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
● Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
● A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about our products
● Knowledgeable with technology and be confident using a mobile point of sale system for processing payments.
● Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle to transport products and gear to and from the market.
The Market runs Saturdays, starting June 7 through October 7, 9 am – 2pm. Compensation will include hourly wage, or 20% sales commission plus mileage from the shop to the market and back to the shop.
