Our client’s is a
Well-established architectural firm based in Toronto. Their portfolio focuses
on Mixed-Use Residential projects. They provide architectural, planning, and
Design services for clients in private sectors and have an impressive portfolio
of Multi-Family Residential projects across Toronto. They are currently looking
for a Job Captain/Architect with at least 10 years of experience to join their
team based in Toronto.
Your new role
Our
client is seeking a full-time Job Captain/Architect to join their team to work
on a Mixed-Use Residential projects. Reporting directly into the partners, you
will manage a team and work on multiple phases of the project from design
development documentation through to construction documentation and contract
administration. You will be on site, coordinating with consultants all while
being under the supervision of Project Leads.
What you’ll need to succeed
As a Job Captain, you will need a minimum of 10 years of experience
in drawing all aspects of working drawings for multi-family residential
projects with a minimum of 10 years working experience of being a job captain.
Should be experienced for site visits and construction administration
activities as outlined by the OAA with concrete and wood framing experience.
Proficiency in the Ontario Building Code (mainly parts 3 and 9, with emphasis on
part 3) with a minimum of 5 years of hands on experience is essential. Ability to
work with AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office is mandatory. Must have excellent
communication skills with clients, consultants and officials. References will
be required and will be contacted. This role is
required to be in person 5 days per week in the North York office.
What you’ll get in return
The
compensation package is commensurate with experience but includes a competitive
salary, commensurate with experience between $90k-130k + discretionary bonus, 3
weeks’ of vacation, extended health and dental benefits, and assistance with
association dues/tuition reimbursement.
